About the Programme

Students in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program will be equipped to design, develop, and analyze software and hardware solutions for a wide variety of business, scientific, and social contexts. Computer science is also interdisciplinary, connecting to fields like psychology, biology, mathematics, and many more, showing the integration of computer science throughout much of the world. With this program, students will gain essential skills they need to work effectively in various career paths such as:

  • Software Developers
  • Hardware Engineers
  • System Designers
  • System Analysts
  • Architects
  • Networking Engineers and Administrators
  • Database Administrators
  • Web Developers
  • Project Team Associates or Leaders, and more.

  • The program has a multidimensional focus of computing providing students a deeper understanding of problem solving, innovation, and being sensitive to wide ranges of issues to support their futures in dynamic and engaging careers.

    Eligibility

The eligibility requirements for this program aim to ensure that students have the academic background and capability to succeed in a field of study. The requirements are outlined below:

  • Minimum Academic Requirement : All candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in an eligible 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with compulsory subjects consisting of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Computer Science. This ensures students are academically prepared to tackle the technical and analytical aspects of the program
  • Entrance Examination : Students are admitted based on their performance in a recognized entrance exam such as the AKTU Entrance Exam or JEE Mains. Entrance exams assess both general aptitude and knowledge, while striving to admit students who will be successful in the program.
  • Selection Process : A thorough review of the student's academic background and performance on the entrance exam will ensure only the best students are offered admission, to create a competitive and lively learning environment
